Colorado Traffic Law

There are more laws governing traffic than anything else in the Colorado Revised Statutes.  Traffic tickets cause drivers all sorts of problems. For starters, the officer usually wastes about 30 minutes of your time writing the ticket. Then there is a court date where you may have to miss a day of work.  If you are convicted, you usually owe a fine and court costs.  Add to that, the fact that receiving too many “points” can cause a license suspension. Finally, your insurance company is likely to raise your monthly premiums. Something as minor as a traffic ticket can wind up costing you thousands of dollars.

Call me to discuss your ticket. I handle traffic law in most Colorado counties, including Denver, Boulder, Weld, El Paso, Jefferson, Arapahoe, Adams, Clear Creek, Summit, Eagle, Garfield, Routt, Moffat, and Grand Counties.

In most cases, I can eliminate any court appearances, get the offense amended to a lesser offense, get the fine, court costs, and points reduced. In most cases, I charge for one hour of attorney time.

Commercial Drivers

Commercial drivers licenses have different rules than ordinary drivers licenses, including some federal rules.  If you are a commercial driver who relies on your license to earn a living, you should consult with an attorney whenever you receive a traffic ticket.  The State's website has other useful information,
